CloudSense continues global growth with new Chennai office

CloudSense, the smart sales and delivery platform, is opening a new office in Chennai, India.

Located in Olympia Teknos, Guindy, Chennai, the office will open in February 2019. With a burgeoning list of customers in the region, and a large partner presence, Chennai presented an unmissable opportunity for CloudSense to continue its expansion in the region.

Founded in 2009 and headquartered in London, CloudSense has quickly grown to 10 offices across Europe, Asia-Pacific and the United States. Following a $77 million investment from Vector Capital, this growth has only accelerated over the past year. Chennai will join Leeds, UK, Colorado, US, and Newcastle, Australia, as a complementary R&D hub to CloudSense’s center of excellence in Zagreb, Croatia, while also housing a Services team for the region.

Ram Thothathri, CloudSense’s Head of Customer Success Engineering & General Manager India, will return to his native Chennai to head up the office. He will be joined by Vivek Manoharan, also hailing from Chennai, who will run CloudSense India’s R&D function. The pair’s combined CloudSense experience and local knowledge means the office will be operational quickly and the search for tech talent has already started:

Chennai has first-rate universities, strong infrastructure and a booming IT sector. These factors, along with our knowledge of the city, meant we knew this would be the perfect place to get CloudSense India off to a flying start.
